Science Fiction & Fantasy INTERZONE ISSUE 254 OUT NOW!

We See a Different Frontier

14th Apr, 2012

Author: Peter Tennant

So, my old mate Djibril Alayad of The Future Fire got in contact to say that he and Fabio Fernandes had set up a peerbacker to fund the publication of 'a special issue/anthology of colonialism-themed speculative fiction from outside the first-world viewpoint' and ask if I'd mind publicising it on the TTA website.

Well it all sounds suspiciously like science fiction to me and I only post to the horror section of the website, and we're nothing if we are not genre purists here at TTA so it would be totally inappropriate of me to mention this peerbacker thingie and suggest you all click on the link below to check it out.

Djibril tried to muddy the water with an observation, 'In my mind speculative fiction includes horror, and it would be great to see supernatural and/or psychological horror stories alongside scifi/fantasy in this antho.'

Yeah, like I'm going to fall for that one.
