Better Late Than Never
It seems that I am running rather late with this, Andy having already posted the contents of Black Static #43, including what books I review in the Case Notes section of the magazine.
I am however a creature of habit, and will elaborate on his revelations, even though it would appear to be redundant.
Here's what we've got for you:-

An interview with James Cooper, one the of the magazine's most regular contributors, plus reviews of his novel Dark Father and novella Strange Fruit.
TIM CURRAN
Reviews of three recent releases by this American author, the novellas Worm and Deadlock, plus the novel Nightcrawlers.
ALISON LITTLEWOOD REVIEWED BY STEPHEN THEAKER
Alison Littlewood's latest novel The Unquiet House is given the once over by the man who reviews the books that I daren't.
RICHARD FARREN BARBER
Reviews of The Power of Nothing and The Sleeping Dead, two novellas by an up and coming writer.

TIM LEBBON: APOCALYPSE X2

Reviews of the two novellas that close out S.P. Miskowski's Skillute cycle of books, Astoria and In the Light.
TELOS PUBLISHING
A look at recent releases from one of the mainstays of the UK small press, including reviews of The Darkness Within, Kat on a Hot Tin Airship and What's Dead Pussykat, all by Sam Stone, Raven Dane's collection Absinthe & Arsenic, The Fall by Simon Clark, and The Immortalists by Andrew Hook.
That's twenty titles in all, taking our total for the year to one hundred and twelve books reviewed of which thirty three have been written or edited by woman (29%).
The last time I did an update, we'd received two hundred and fourteen books, forty four of them with a female byline (21%).
