Night of Demons
Tony Richards' Night of Demons is the sequel to last year's Dark Rain, which I reviewed in Black Static #9.
The setting for these novels is the town of Raine's Landing, cut off from the outside world and refuge for the descendants of the Salem witches. It's a place where magic works and, conversely, the balance of power is held by those who have no 'gifts'.
I already have a copy and hope to review the book in the next Black Static, but regular readers of the magazine will already be familiar with Richards' work and don't need me to tell them that he's got the goods.
