Vampires at The Beeb

30th Oct, 2009

Author: Peter Tennant

Front Row, BBC Radio Four's arts magazine programme, hosted by Mark Lawson, this Thursday just gone stuck a cultured toe into the carmine stained waters of vampire fiction, asking why this horror archetype continues to appeal.

They didn't speak to anyone from the UK's leading horror magazine, but they did interview Dacre Stoker, a descendant of Dracula author Bram Stoker, whose Dracula: The Un-dead, co-written with Ian Holt, is set fair to maintain the family tradition.

For a few more days, the programme is available on the BBC iPlayer (just click on the link below).
