Already Dead - Free Download
I've reviewed several of the Joe Pitt novels in the pages of Black Static. The books are set in a New York city where vampires exist beneath the human radar, and Pitt is a 'gun for hire' who is unaffiliated to any of the vampire clans, but available to take care of dirty business for any of them, as long as he's paid, preferably in blood.
For those who've been tempted, but so far avoided commitment, author Charlie Huston has made Already Dead, the first novel in the series, available as a free download.
