From a review I read recently - 'With her long red hair, pale completion and fiery personality'
And from another - 'On the service it is just a story about ballet, love and jealousy'

From a recent PR mailing:-
'a cosmos-spanning theatre full of looming threat, intergalactic politics, intriguing characters, sinister worlds, and taught action.'

Tautologous to say what is wrong with that sentence.

Not 'taughtologous' Des?
Just stumbled across this on play.com:-
'In the third installation of the ever-popular Pirates... series'

On the Vorrish side it was tempered with a land of puzzlement...
This was another point they bore in mind when dunking of us.
"Where is he JIOW?" I demanded.
"Today Himself has ordered the Earthfolk ... not to supply any more of this poison to my 8011."
All from the appallingly bad Gollancz/SF Gateway ebook of John Brunner's The Super Barbarians, along with dozens of less interesting but equally irritating mistakes. Not the first of their books that has been such a mess.

From a review:-
'who orders her hanging, despite not a shed of proof'
And from another:-
'could have quite easily ended up feeling prosperous but **** does a marvellous job of making it all seem very reasonable'

The spam filters on my blog saved the world from this:- If you've been excited about a woman, that is forget about with you but in order to gain her back again, this very little secret e-book has almost everything that may help you succeed her backside into your life. Discover when to have sex throughout the fixing your relationship process considering that men and women go about this incorrect and jump the government financial aid to bed to in the near future only to create the romance more serious. I don't know where to begin

You're almost certainly right Roy, that it's a translation, but all the same 'succeed her backside into your life'...
Today I stumbled across 'I can't help but think that entirely subsiding on toast sandwiches'.

Both word choice and sentiment are wrong in that one! I'd live on toasted sandwiches if they didn't make for such difficult washing up. I bought some bags that you drop into the toaster, but the sandwiches never got hot through and through like they do in the George Foreman.
