This was an article on eating for less than 50p a meal, the toasted sandwich in question being a round of toast placed between two slices of buttered bread.
I might give it a go, if you can substitute fried bread for toast.

Just read a double whammy reference to the novel 'They Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas'.

Maybe it's a different book? What shelf did it come from?

Recently read a description of the "Never Again" anthology as 'Weird fiction against Racism & Facism'.

From an Amazon review:-
'After he and half of the males from their school have had carnival knowledge of her...'
No other typos in the review that I noticed, so it could be wordplay, but...

From an Amazon listing:
"The LEGO Bricks and More Deluxe Brick Box comes with more than 700 pieces including widows, doors, a base plate and two minifigures ..."

An author concerned about the difficulty of selling books when there are so many freebies on Kindle:
"I'm not saying their all bad writers"

As reported by Gary Fry on Facebook...
"Sign seen in the Co-op's travel shop this morning: "Guaranteed 10% off all this Summers holidays!" It takes a special kind of genius to work TWO grammatical errors into ONE word. ("Summers" should not be capitalised and needs a possessive apostrophe: "summer's".) It wasn't even a hand-written sign by the Ibiza-rep working at the shop. It was mass-printed and presumably used by every branch in the country. Sigh."

Not a typo as such, but somebody describing last night's Olympic closing ceremony - 'They're going to distinguish the flame.'

Not a typo as such, but I've just become aware that there is no K in the Irish language. This makes me wonder how Franz Kafka's "The Trial" and "The Castle" are translated

Tautological silliness rather than a typo, but the other day someone on Radio 4 said: "It's difficult to make predictions, especially about the future..."
