Just read a review in which the observation is made of two supporting characters that they 'have large rolls to play'.

Apparently a leaflet about cycling in Kirklees had to be withdrawn because Kirklees was spelt 'Kirtles' and Cleckheaton became 'Czechisation'.

Best of all, an email address for British Waterways was given out as 'enquiries.manicdepressive@brutalisation's.co.uk'

Just got this in an email from a writer trying to interest me in his product:-

>>about a black ops special agent, who is sent into a hostel zone to take out the bad guys!

Probably an ironic comment on the Eli Roth film that went right over my head as I haven't seen it.

Not a typo, but I find it funny. From an email I received from a company that markets solar panels:-

I'm sorry that we couldn't provide you with a free solar system when you enquired earlier in the year

I'd have settled for a black hole

From a yahoo article on identity theft:-

'There are all sorts of different techniques, which encompass everything from fake charities to stealing the identity of the diseased.'

I suppose it could be correct.

But I don't think so.

Not a typo as such, but from a 'plan your journey' website:-

Note: Certain combinations of outward and return journeys would result in you needing to leave your destination before arriving at it.
The 'paradox' theory of bus travel.

Haha, like it, Pete.

This isn't a typo, but a triumphantly bad piece of tautology. Just bought some screenwash, only to find it described as 'A powerful screenwash and windscreen cleaner in one.'

Well, yes.

From some advice I've just received on email marketing:

Quote:
1. It increases the likely hood that your email will go into the junk folder; many spam filters block emails that have attachments in case they contain viruses.

Heh heh... :D

Just spotted in some techy gubbins:

Added updater to Ala cart standalone installers.

Reminds me of an email I got the other week, which wasn't saying such-and-such 'per say'...

Arrrghhh

You're just miffed because it wasn't 'Ali cart'

The other day read about a man who walked with 'a curious stuttering gate'...
