I am *intending* to issue submission guidelines shortly for next year's Megazanthus Press short story anthology: HORROR WITHOUT VICTIMS. A paying market, as before.
In the meantime, please feel free to start thinking about your submission to suit an anthology with that title. The guidelines are likely to be simply that - with a maximum of, say, 10000 words. Please don't send me anything yet.
For the style of fiction I favour please read some of the reviews of the nine issues of NEMONYMOUS, 'The Horror Anthology of Horror Anthologies' and 'The First Book of Classical Horror Stories'.

I'd post about it separately as well Des, so it doesn't get missed by people who come here looking for market outlets and ignore the Self Promo thread.

See here for the cover art.

You just made a sale! I love the cover art for this... and as I'd read the review of the first book in the series in Interzone, I decided to start collecting the four books... I shall start reading when I have all four! Glad to see they will be coming out in swift succession!

I prefer to keep colour instead of turning these into links (which have such dull colour!) so just copy and paste addresses to visit my art etc.

Well, perhaps not so quick :-) I'm expecting each one to appear at intervals of 6 to 9 months.

Well that means I should be able to start reading about a year from now.... hmmm, can't wait to clutch that crispy smelling printshop smelly little darlin' to my olfactory bosom...so to speak

I might succumb and be unable to refrain from nibbling at her creamy lobes...

The latest instalment of Sparking Neurones covers psychedelics, ancient curses and nanotech shamanism in The Avengers. But the real draw is the crappy miniskirt costume Hawkeye wore for a few issues back in the '70s.

As Spare Parts has been reissued as an ebook by Stumar Press I've dug up this interview from when the original Rainfall paperback was published. The interview was conducted by British Fantasy Award winning editor Pam Creais. http://stuyoung.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/ ... rview.html

Almost twenty years in the making, and inspired by my son, Alexander, and the fun I used to have reading to him when he was wee, I've began to serialise my children's novel "The Mad Tickler" over at Wattpad, and you can find the first chapter here:

The latest instalment of Sparking Neurones is also the final instalment of the Men in Tights series. I discuss artificial intelligence, the pros and cons of patriotism, the dynamics of heroism, the nature of the soul, and the role of personal belief in religion. All based around a discussion of Captain America's costume. http://www.teemingbrain.com/2012/11/01/ ... ts-part-4/

The Future Fire's anthology Outlaw Bodies came out on Thursday 1st November. Amazon still seems to be playing silly so-and-sos with the link but its subsidiary Lulu is apparently working fine. Links are here:
