Thats an interesting story of a possible love between two people who are separated by a river. Lucky there is a bridge for them to cross. I think this could be an interesting love story you have here...

I've just uploaded the Kindle ebook of 'Stars in Her Eyes' onto Amazon. This short story, which combines the search for extraterrestrial life with the untapped power of collective dreaming, originally appeared in Postscripts #17, and received both an Honorable Mention and a Year's Summation mention from Gardner Dozois in his 'Year's Best SF' anthology for 2008. It can be purchased (£0.77 or equivalent) from http://amzn.to/100prij (UK) or http://amzn.to/12XmC64 (USA, some RoW), also other branches of Amazon. Cover art is by good friend Tony Hughes.

Terminus X is a story that is based on an unprecedented disaster when the sun ejects a massive cloud of charged plasma particles and lethal radiation. When the solar wind reaches Earth, it destroys electronics and heats the Earth's core to a point the planet is shattered into fragments around its molten core and moon.
One hundred years later society slowly reorganizes itself, forcing a government system onto the survivors: Xigen and HumaniX. Any leftover survivors are then placed into a five-tiered cast system consisting of: Priests, Communicators, Warriors, Outcasts, and Dregs.
HumaniX government is advanced in technology and its citizens live in huge sky cities that travel through the gravity wakes between the moon and Earth's molten core. The Xigen are a lesser-advanced government, which lives on the floating landmasses, struggling to survive. The two governments have been constantly at war over water, food and land.
Struggling in a hostile environment, Travis Medwin and Nelson Porter conduct illegal deals and eventually join a dangerous race that could mark the outcome of their lives. But after being dragged into a conflict between two warring factions, their goal suddenly changes to that of survival as they fight to discover the truth that's plaguing the struggling remains of humanity.
Investigating the fate of the sunken HumaniX cruiser, Travis Medwin and Nelson Porter find themselves hosts to a clan of people who call themselves "The Priests." But the Priests have a more sinister motive and won’t stop until they have what they want. Hunted by a higher order, the two must find a way to escape the deadly land and find the HumaniX.
Just a heads up, the second part of Terminus X will soon be free. So download your free copy on the days below. July 1, 2, 3 August 2, 3 I could do with all your help in spreading the news about this free offer by tweeting it or using facebook Terminus X. Its free and I am sure many people will like it. Press release: - http://www.prlog.org/12140181-sci-fi-th ... elves.htmlHope you all can help out and enjoy. Shane

I am concerned that my last year's Horror anthology has not been read by some who would have enjoyed it (thus missing some great horror stories) because they felt put off by the classical music theme of the book. http://classicalhorror.wordpress.com/
