It's a great new cover, Roy, but I did like the "loud" previous cover. I'll do a review of it for my next batch for Concatenation which seems be swelling because I'm adding in Neil's book and some others in addition to the pile they have sent me, and with judging the British Fantasy Society Best Newcomer award, I'm drowning in books!

A dozen favourites from my own recent photographs of local skylines shown at this link
(plus an advert for my three year old novel 'Nemonymous Night' that has a skyline on its cover):

The Kindle edition of my SF collection Moondust Memories is only £0.99 to buy from Amazon.co.uk until midnight on 11 June. These eleven stories were published in leading magazines and anthologies, such as Nature, Postscripts, End of an Aeon, and Music for Another World.

Here's what readers are saying about Moondust Memories:
- Dylan S Hearn: "The tell-tale sign of great speculative fiction is that you are still thinking about it days after you finish reading. This has been the case for me with Moondust Memories. Highly recommended." (5* review on Amazon and Goodreads).
- Paul Laville: "A fabulous read!" (Facebook)

For those of you who prefer print to pixels, there's also a paperback edition available (e.g. £4.99 at Amazon.co.uk). http://amzn.to/1hDXtlq

I keep forgetting to post...

I babble on about Poe's story, 'The Oval Portrait', over at This is Horror.

Previous columns covered M.R. James's 'A Warning to the Curious', Maura McHugh's 'Water', Janice Galloway's 'The Meat', and Angela Carter's 'The Snow Child'.

I have some fiction (The Ferocious Night) in the current issue of Storylandia, a literary journal based in Los Angeles, and some non-fiction (an interview with Ellyott Ben Ezzer, an Israeli singer who I used to know when she fronted punk band Sister George long ago in London) in the June issue of Curve magazine (also North American).

Time for some shameless self-promotion, folks.

If you're interested in finding out 25 Ways To Kill A Werewolf, it's now for sale in paperback at Amazon.co.uk (here). The ebooks will be at Amazon and Spacewitch end of the month / early September if all goes to plan.

There's also a GoodReads page (here) and a giveaway of an ebook (here).

I've had a short SF story, "Periscope", published online over at Perihelion SF. I've also blogged about how the story came to be written here.

If anyone is going to Fantasycon this year from 5th to 7th of September in York, I’m taking part in Allen Ashley’s poetry reading bash on the Friday night, starting at 7.30pm, and I’m doing a reading on Saturday morning from 11am to 11.20am, entitled “Hunter’s Humorous Horror” when I’ll be reading a Lovecraftian story called “Oozehooks” and a Holmes pastiche called “Roam Belanger and the Case of the Missing Letters” and maybe a couple of poems guaranteed to get laughs (it says here) if there’s time.

TTA will be there with a stand in the Dealer's Room Ian and I hope to join you at the poetry. Maybe I can lower the tone by reading some of mine.

I hope to attend the poetry with my partner, Sophie.

I've also got a reading at 2pm on the Saturday. Not sure what I'll be reading yet, but come along!
