We went through a backlog of submissions last night and have added three poets to the line up for issue 2 which is coming along nicely. What we really really want, however, is a short story (two to three thousand words or so) as the backbone of the magazine. Any genre, although quirky surreal is preferred. That excellent story you have which you can't place elsewhere because it doesn't tick or won't be shoehorned into any editors boxes might well tick our box. www.fur-linedghettos.weebly.com

Still awaiting that killer story for FLG#2. None are hitting the mark, and we won't be satisfied until we get what we want!

Meanwhile, for UK purchasers, we've dropped the price of #1 from £5 to £3 for a limited period, including postage, so if you haven't done so already please check the mag out and the cool contents therein.

I've just blogged about the content of Fur-Lined Ghettos as it occured to us that we're trying to sell something that only those who have bought the magazine have actually seen. It's like we're selling lucky dips! On the blog are three sample poems giving potential purchasers/submitters an idea of what we like: http://andrew-hook.blogspot.co.uk/2013/ ... hetto.html

We are currently reading submissions for issue four.
