Decided this morning to launch a new magazine with my partner, Sophie. She's the main editor and I'm along for the ride. We're not specifically looking for genre, but are open to persuasion. Impress us!

Guidelines for Fur-Lined Ghettos here.

We've started to make some acceptances for the first issue but are still actively seeking more work: particularly short prose pieces. The stranger the better. Give us surrealism or give us death. Or both. :)

First issue is shaping up nicely. One story so far, and four different poets with three poems each. We're anticipating publication in July but there's still a third of the magazine to fill and we need more quality submissions...

I tried & failed... I suspect my stories weren't surreal enough! :D

We've taken quite a few orders but there was an unexpected glitch with the printers that's caused a delay in getting the magazine to us. It should now be with us in the next couple of days and contributor/ordered copies will be despatched by the weekend.

Thanks for the update, Andrew, looking forward to gettting a contributor's copy of issue 1 to give me a steer for submitting to issue 2.

I've sent off something today that's suitably surreal...

Excellent editorial!

It's got me looking at my thousand-word ramble for TQF41 in utter disgust...!
