I couldn't find a deadline or the minimum word count (20,000? that can't be right.)

From the guidelines on their website the deadline is 31 December 2012 and 15,000 words max.

DUH! I must have been looking at the wrong page. Thanks! I don't know if I can write something in such a short time frame. There's no minimum word count listed, and I tend to write SHORT. Nothing to lose by trying. I like the challenge.

Cheers,
Jonette

Sadly, this is looking like one project too many for me. but I'm looking forward to the release of the book. (And then I'll no doubt kick myself for not submitting something...)

Rats, that's what I was going to write. Ah, well, back to the drawing board.

I made a start on my story, then flu hit. It hit hard. I've been working on my story ever since in my head, where it keeps morphing. I hope to be able to get it written on my keyboard and sent in before the deadline. Otherwise, I've got a story that I can try to market elsewhere.

Anyone else still working on a train story?

I had started a story too, but sadly things overtook me and I'm going to let this one go as well. Oh well, never mind.

Hi everyone! For those worrying about time and finishing stories for Rustblind, I have already received a couple of requests from writers for a time extension to finish off stories (which I granted of course). So I want to make it clear publicly that I am quite happy with a delay of up to a fortnight or so. I would just ask you to get in touch and let me know about it before the official deadline, just so I know what I am dealing with and what to expect.

Hey - I have been at war with formality ever since I started this press. Why change now? :D

David
