A major booklaunch featuring 5 books from three specialist presses - Eibonvale, Chomu and PS Publishing and 2 Black Static authors. Exceptional literature from between the cracks of horror, fantasy and SF. Readings, wine, a chance to buy signed copies and meet the authors. I presume this includes readings but I could be wrong.
Stardust by Nina Allan

Just a reminder of the Peckham book launch tomorrow (see two posts up). I'll be there as I have a story in the Rustblind and Silverbright anthology and it should be a good event!

"HORROR UNCUT, an evening of tales of aus-TERROR-ty..." launch & readings. Lots of Black Static authors in the anthology but not reading this time. Today's northern launch by Twisted Tales Events in Manchester was very good so if you are in Brighton why not go along.
This Sunday Oct 26 Cowley Club 12 London Road, BN1 4JA 7 - 10:pm

A live literature event to celebrate the publication of the new anthology HORROR UNCUT:Tales of Social Insecurity and Economic Unease (Gray Friar Press), dark fiction for dark times. The stories in the book explore the possible consequences of the present government's austerity measures such as the 'bedroom tax' and other benefit cuts, the increasing privatisation of the health service and the marginalisation and demonisation of the poor, from such acclaimed writers as Alison Littlewood, Laura Mauro and the late Joel Lane. In fact, the book has turned into something of a memorial to Joel, World Fantasy Award-winning writer, respected editor and committed socialist, who died at the tragically young age of fifty, while co-editing the book with Tom Johnstone.
