Just wanted to pass on the very latest news on this year's Edge-Lit event, taking place at QUAD in Derby. The 14th July is going to be a crammed day of events, with activities kicking off at 10am and running until midnight with panels, readings, workshops, films and much more. There's loads of news coming out each day on the event, with some of the very latest below...

The full speakers line-up for the event is now confirmed, with the potential of a few additions yet - you can check out the full range of participants at http://edgelitderby.blogspot.co.uk/2012 ... irmed.html. I'm really excited to have such a great group of talent for the day.

We've also got the first details on the film programme, which will have a HP Lovecraft theme. With Friday night featuring the superb THE CALL OF CTHULHU, and a Saturday night double-header plus a panel on the great man himself, this should be a really exciting thread of the schedule. We're also going to have a suitably busy dealers room, with 11 tables in The Box offering a great range of books both new and second-hand. I'll be announcing more details on that one in the near future.
