Borders in Oxford Street is proud to present an evening with author and actress Axelle Carolyn and scriptwriter and director Neil Marshall, who will be discussing with author and publisher David J Howe, the modern horror film, looking at the art and techniques of films since the turn of the millennium, and taking in everything from the asian horror trends of 'The Ring' and 'The Grudge', to remakes like 'The Wicker Man' and 'Halloween', including Marshall's own films, 'Dog Soldiers', 'The Descent' and 'Doomsday'.

Following the talk will be a signing of Carolyn's acclaimed illustrated hardback guide to the genre, IT LIVES AGAIN! HORROR MOVIES IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM (Telos, £16.99).
