Managed to finish off the two anthologies I was dipping into - Book of Horrors and Best Horror twenty-latest, which means I can get back to The Passage (can't help disliking the title, but so far it's enjoyable) and the Stephen King I wasn't supposed to have started yet.

Just as I think I'm catching up, a whole load of collections I 'accidently' ordered for myself arrive, so not sure how long the focus can be maintained on novels before another group of short stories distracts me.

Finished that there "Theatre of Curious Acts" book, and have just started "Ashes", a post-apocalyptic novel by Isla J. Bick, who had a story in the last Crimewave.

Just finished "Barbed Wire Hearts" by Cate Gardner. Review of this and two other titles to follow in Black Static #27.

And finally made a start on "Best Horror of the Year Volume 3", edited by Ellen Datlow - as 2011 draws to a close I figure I should find out what was good about 2010.

Eek! Oh who am I kidding, I'm stoked whether the reviews are good or bad. :twisted:

Reading Alexandra Sokoloff's 'The Harrowing'. So many people have recommended her work I figured I should pick up one of her books. About half way through. Enjoying it.
