Looks rather swish.

It does look rather fancy. Myself and the girlfriend have this on our "to see" list. Hopefully it will actually be as good as the Oscar Wilde novel, but I'm a little worried that hollywood might have slaughtered it- in a similar was as it seems Guy Ritchie has to Sherlock Holmes.

It was pretty good :)

Not the greatest film all time, by a long stretch, but better than most around at the moment. I wasn't the greatest fan of Ben Barnes in the lead role, but Colin Firth was good. Ben Chaplin was a bit distracting in how similarly he resembled Robert Lindsay, but also did a good job.

It was engaging from the off, fantastical without being ridiculous, and moved through the historical eras with a consciousness of it that I appreciated.

Not as good as District 9 (which was, in my opinion, damn near perfect), but still one of the better films of the summer :)
