I've only heard of 2, Count Duckula, Nosferatu, out of that list.

Only 7 out of 10 for City of Violence? *gasp* I would've given it at least a 10. :) For me, it's one of those films that are already great after the first 20 minutes but then just keep getting better and better as they go along, like, say, Azumi (the first, not the second), or Infernal Affairs (the original, not that dreadful Scorsese remake), or... well, too many to mention!

Even though I'm a big fan of space movies, I agree with you, Roy...
It's undeniably spectacular, but the plot is cliched, and I found it oddly difficult to watch (2nd time around) on DVD... impact diminished, and no surprises left.
