Out now. Trailer here:-

I like the premise, but have the feeling something similar was used in a TV series from a few years back. Anyone know what I'm thinking of?

Close Roy, and when I checked it out on wikipedia, there was a link to the show I had in mind, "Seven Days":-

Not seen that but there was a movie with a ferry explosion and time travel but details escape me.

There was a recent time traveling one which I thought quite fast and furious - was it called Jumpers? These time travellers get chased by others, and the one chap gets rudely interrupted whilst taking his girlfriend out on a jolly in Rome?

I thought Jumpers were teleporting rather than time travelling. It was on TV recently.

Roy, Yes, I saw in on TV too - and I think you might be right about teleporting?

Didn't see it on TV but saw the movie which was not one to see again.
I wrote this here in 2008
Quote:
Saw the movie Tuesday, not impressed but there were one or two interesting moments. I couldn't help feeling they were all that remained from the book(s) but that could be completely wrong. I felt sorry for Rachel Bilson. They didn't give her a lot to do.

Source Code is out on DVD next week.

The ZONE's reviewer gives it 3 stars...

It sounds like one of those genre 'mystery' films that won't repay any repeat viewings, though.

I thought Source Code was fantastic (was pre-disposed to liking it because I enjoyed 'Moon' so much, the previous film by Duncan Jones).

The mystery element is a huge part of the story, but they hang lots of emotion and tension off it. Plus there are some excellent bits of direction - Chicago looks amazing and I loved the opening shots following the train.

I don't know about ZONE, but I'd recommend it!
