I watched episode one, wasn't keen and gave up, but... I've since heard that lots of people love it. 
Note, I also did that with Supernatural and now I love that show.

Same with me Cate - I found it a bit dull, but then I didn't stick with it beyond the first couple of eps so it might have got better! Loads of people do seem to rave about it.

I'm still working my way through The Wire anyway at the moment, but maybe I'll give it a go after. And maybe Supernatural now, too.

Careful Ray. With "Supernatural" I've found that women's opinions are often shaped by factors that have little to do with the storyline, sfx, character development etc, and therefore not necessarily to be trusted.

Not having seen it before, I reviewed Supernatural – season 6, for IZ #236, and found it badly flawed, with hackwork plots & stereotyped stars. I gave it 4/10. Warehouse 13 is more entertaining. Fringe is far better than either of them.

Oh dear. Thanks guys.
I tried Fringe and wasn't really bowled over, so if it's better than those perhaps I should steer clear...
Maybe I'll try Sherlock.

The first few series of Supernatural are worth a watch Ray, though I seem to remember it started to go downhill at series 5.
Course, I watched 'em anyway. (Pete, I don't know what you mean!! Cough.)
