I've never seen this TV series, but I've just been offered "Fringe - September's Notebook" for possible review in Black Static.

The publishers refer to it as a 'supernatural crime' drama, but Tony's review in IZ#243 and other stuff I've heard make me think I should pass the query over to the IZ team for consideration.

Opinions, anyone?

BS or IZ review - which is more appropriate?

Fringe would be Interzone, definitely. Horrific in places, but it's all science fiction, no supernatural elements at all. The plots stem from time travel, genetic manipulation, alternative dimensions, etc.

Fringe (there's a great review of season 1 on VideoVista) is more sci-fi than supernatural, but I suppose it depends how you define 'supernatural' - as not everything in Fringe makes SFnal sense.

September is a mysterious 'Observer' in the series.
