Just read 'The History of Poly-V' by Jon Ingold, and 'Dance of the Kawkawroons' by Mercurio D. Riveria.
Wow !!!! Two amazing stories that mean I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more writing by these guys !

I'm with richdodgin in that I've only read the first couple but they are two of the best I've read in a while - hope the rest of the magazine is as strong.

Just received with my post in Macclesfield.
Has anyone seen IZ 227 in retail yet? Newsagent or bookshop other than specialist SF emporia like Forbidden Planet or Transreal?

Sorry about that Harpal. Normally Andy would send a replacement out with the next Black Static mailing but will you be at the Eastercon again this year? If so I can save one for you.

Arrived in Ohio, USA. A beautiful issue, with great use of color and art inside.

Totally agree with Jason. I think the colour (despite loads of people's previous doubts) has really worked well. I remember pulp mags which turned into bog-rolls if you read them in the bath.
I think all the IZ team deserve congratulations for the sheer quality of the publication.

I still demand laminated issues so I can read mine in the bath without fear of dropping it in

Ok, I exaggerate. I meant: When I'm wallowing in t'metal tub afore t'coal fire. Shortly afore eating lard and going out to watch t'whippets at t'race track. In flat cap, of course.
