Particularly enjoyed Tidhar's 'The Wound Dresser' this issue as a favourite, though enjoyed all the stories as usual. I won't say more for now in case of spoilers.

Another brilliant issue. Really enjoyed the Joel Lane and Simon Clark stories.

I think the colour format is stunning.
I've read and enjoyed the Joel Lane story (nothing like a good helping of urban decay with my breakfast). BTW my sister has sleep apnoea and wears a mask, though it's not attached to a machine. But this added to my interest in the story.
And I've just read Beachcombing, which I found subtle, imaginative and very affecting. At the end I found myself wanting to read more about Tommy and the kind of life he'd have as he grows up.

Another excellent issue!
I really enjoyed They Will Not Rest, great story.
As a fan of Best New Horror, it was nice to get an insight to the guy that puts it all together. (He's is one busy man..lol)

Colin Harvey reviews the issue on Suite 101.
It's an extremely positive review in which everything in the issues ranges from Highly Recommended to Outstanding to "one of the best stories of the year, both in Black Static or any magazine" (Ray Cluley's 'Beachcombing').

Yeah, but when are you going to destroy the negatives Ray?

Colin Harvey is spot on about Ray Cluley's 'Beachcombing'. It's deeply affecting, a story I know I will go back and re-read. It's beautiful, mysterious and elegiac.
Looking forward very much to the appearance of his next story. Ray's set the bar incredibly high. I'm envious as hell...
