Andy's posted the contents of #29 on Facebook, and the leader board now looks like this:-

Daniel Kaysen - 8
Ray Cluley - 7
Carole Johnstone - 6
Joel Lane - 6
James Cooper - 5
Tim Lees - 5
Nina Allan - 4
Tim Casson - 4
Alison J. Littlewood - 4
Gary McMahon - 4
Steve Rasnic Tem - 4

Ray has pulled ahead of the pack on 6 and is now within touching distance of Daniel Kaysen. Movement also for Tim Lees, and Nina Allan has surged back into the top flight, which is great even if it does mean the Top 10 is now a Top 11.

Andy's posted the contents of #30 on Facebook, and the leader board now looks like this:-

Ray Cluley - 8
Daniel Kaysen - 8
Carole Johnstone - 7
James Cooper - 6
Joel Lane - 6
Tim Lees - 5
Nina Allan - 4
Tim Casson - 4
Alison J. Littlewood - 4
Gary McMahon - 4

The ToC for #32 has been made public, and so the leader board now looks like this:-

Ray Cluley - 9
Daniel Kaysen - 8
James Cooper - 7
Carole Johnstone - 7
Joel Lane - 6
Tim Casson - 5
Tim Lees - 5
Steve Rasnic Tem - 5
Nina Allan - 4
V. H. Leslie - 4
Alison J. Littlewood - 4
Gary McMahon - 4

Ray at last puts clear water between himself and Daniel. Movement also from Tim Casson and Steve Rasnic Tem, who haven't appeared in BS since #16 and #19 respectively.

The ToC for #33 has been made public, and so the leader board now looks like this:-

Ray Cluley - 9
James Cooper - 8
Carole Johnstone - 8
Daniel Kaysen - 8
Tim Casson - 6
Joel Lane - 6
Tim Lees - 5
Gary McMahon - 5
Steve Rasnic Tem - 5
Nina Allan - 4
V. H. Leslie - 4
Alison J. Littlewood - 4

Lots of movement, as the contenders jockey for position. Ray maintains pole position, but there's now a pack of them snapping at his heels and one time front runner Daniel Kaysen is dropping back down the field. Gary McMahon has jumped over the three ladies on 4 and is now closing in on the middle of the table.

This is all sooooooooooo exciting.

I need to get out more.

Not seen any stories from Daniel Kaysen recently and his website hasn't updated since his appearance in issue 28.

The ToC for #34 has been made public, and so the leader board now looks like this:-

Ray Cluley - 9
James Cooper - 8
Carole Johnstone - 8
Daniel Kaysen - 8
Joel Lane - 7
Tim Casson - 6
Nina Allan - 5
Tim Lees - 5
Gary McMahon - 5
Steve Rasnic Tem - 5
V. H. Leslie - 4
Alison J. Littlewood - 4

Movement in the middle of the field, with Lane and Allan each jumping one place. Cluley is still hanging on to pole position, but he hasn't moved for a couple of issues now, so possibly burned out from the effort it took to move up from so far back in the field and overtake the leaders.

Burn out was only temporary. Had to write something completely different (more general fiction than genre fiction) to get the mojo back. But it's back, and hopefully I'll move again soon - I want that number ten... [-o<

That's a relief Ray - the tenner I had on you at Ladbrookes was looking a bit unsafe for a moment there.

Jeez, Pete - you've put enough pressure on with this acceptances race as it is!
