The August-September issue should mail out some time next week. Please check the insert in issue 23 for a subscription reminder and renew if necessary, preferably before this new issue mails out. Thanks.

You can find details of the issue on Black Static > Current Issue, along with spreads, opening paragraphs, and links.

All the books and films reviewed are listed there, but Pete no doubt will go into more detail on his Case Notes Blog about the 14 or so books he's reviewed and the in-depth interview with Kaaron Warren, and Tony will no doubt mark the DVD/BDs he's reviewed (over 40 of them!) on his blog. In this issue you can also win a copy of Kaaron Warren's novel Mistification, and several DVDs or Blu-rays such as Sucker Punch, The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec, The Devil's Rock, Attack the Block, The Silent House, Hobo With a Shotgun...

All UK and overseas copies were picked up from TTA Towers this morning. So hopefully the issue should begin to arrive with subscribers in a few days.

I am two stories in so far and they're really quite good. They seem to be themed around the psychopath idea - I wonder if the other stories will match?

Still not got mine, but eagerly watching the letterbox, but not through the letterbox as my wide, bloodshot eyes puts the postie off (like the dog barking).

Best issue for a while - really strong stories. (Slightly more in depth comments at my blog.) The Ramsey Campbell story was a piece of class (of course).
