More people should be reading Simon Avery as well. The Teardrop Method is a truly exceptional piece of work. (As is his novella in Crimewave 12, The Only Broken Blonde.)

Agreed. I reckon 101 Ways to Leave Paris was one of the standout stories from Crimewave 10. And who can forget Bury the Carnival, from the very first Black Static?
