The problem I had
with the Hal Duncan story
was not the story
itself but the very
narrow columns, which
broke up his already
dense prose and made
comprehension
difficult. Any chance of
switching the layout from
three columns per page
to two?

It arrived in Cambridge MA and elsewhere (but not identified) in the US according to responses on the overseas thread next door.

not 100% sure, but I think it might be "Digital To Analogue", originally from the In Dreams anthology, and later in his Zima Blue collection

I just got my hot little hands on a copy of IZ209 yesterday. It looks great. The new size is really easy to hold too. The first thing I noticed when flipping through it was the writeup about the movie "The Fountain". I think I was one of about 100 people worldwide that saw that movie in the theatre, so I was very curious to see what the article said. The article had a lot of interesting background that I wasn't aware of. Very cool! Can't wait to read the rest.

I just finished reading The Good Detective by M. John Harrison. I wasn't sure where the story was going for a bit, but the story's mood was very compelling and kept me hooked throughout. Near the end, I realized that the story will probably hit close to home with many readers. It was a very satisfying piece. Keep up the good work, Andy.

Well spotted Jayme. That should raise IZ's profile.
He missed M John though.

I didn't realize the link to Journey was case sensitive, please ignore the original edit of this post. Just downloaded it now (oh what a noob am I...)
Also, I am very stoked to hear about the Ellison piece. All that from a plate of spring rolls! Tell Harlan I said thanks again! ---ed.
