Does anybody know why Transmissions 1-12 no longer appear on the iTunes list?

I started listening at about 17, I think, and when I tried to get the back episodes, could only go down to 9.
It seems like itunes is removing older episodes as new ones are added.

I've noticed that with other podcasts as well. Some seem to only have the previous 10 listed. Perhaps you have to let them know that you want the archives stored?

I've seen it on other podcasts too. The Escape Artist podcasts, most notably. However, that may be deliberate, since I believe EA sell discs of their back catalogue.
Also, the EA podcasts have 38 podcasts on download (or at least, the Escape Pod one does). So I don't really understand why the TFB podcast should be so different.
