For those of you who like me love books, magazines, newspapers, and even new media that I've never heard of, be aware that their free or nearly free accessability in libraries is under threat. I don't think this is totally new, but it is the most prominently displayed instance that I have seen. I am pessimistic: http://libwww.freelibrary.org/closing/ . Uppsala fan and fellow book-lover Johan Anglemark posted this link on Facebook this morning. He got it from Boing Boing.
