The first NEVER AGAIN review is in from Peter G Bell. Thank you!
I think someone will be getting even more excited when she reads this IF that is possible.

A fantastic launch
I had a great time (once I got over my nerves!), and was lovely to meet folks and put faces to names.
Peter's review is excellent. Huge congrats to Alison Littlewood, Nina Allan, Simon Kurt Unsworth, Rhys Hughes and Mat Joiner for the stand-out mentions!

I never got the chance to chat as much as I wanted to. Everything went by so fast! A pleasure to meet you though!

Just finished my review this afternoon, but you'll all have to wait until BS #19 to find out what it says

I know what you mean, Ally. So many people that I wanted to meet, and ended up saying brief hi/byes instead before losing them completely!
Was lovely to see you (briefly) again!
Looking forward to your review of Never Again, Pete, I always enjoy your reviews in Case Notes (which wasn't meant to be sooky, but still sounds it)

I'm also reviewing "Where the Heart Is" and "The Year's Best New Horror 2", and I believe you are in both of them, so well done you.

Gulp!
Gawsh - that's really nice.
Being in Where the Heart Is and Year's Best is a fantastic achievement, Carole. I bought WTHI at the event so looking forward to that.

I'm reviewing 13 anthologies for BS#19, and it's interesting to see which names recur, though not interesting enough for a flow chart.
I think Simon Kurt Unsworth has the most 'hits' with five appearances. I have a collection of his in the TBR pile and am wondering if I can cobble something together out of all the individual comments and pass it off as a review

Thanks, Pete! Didn't realise that you were reviewing so many anthos. Now really looking forward to BS #19!
Simon has done really well this/last year; he seems to be cropping up everywhere! Not that I'm jealous or anything...
And thanks, Alison Did you read Peter's review? Of the ones he mentioned, he seemed particularly taken with your and Simon's stories, I thought. Hope you're pleased!

I'm aiming for world domination (assuming I can stay awake) by the end of 2010. Maybe March 2011 if I take my time...

Slow down Simon, think of your poor Mum having to buy 3 of each.

When Simon said world domination I thought he meant he was becoming a reviewer.
Cue megalomaniac smiley

At least I don't publish with companies that print very expensive limited editions...oh, no, wait, Very Best of Best New Horror has a very limited edition due at some point. Mum, get you purse!
Oh, and Pete: no. I don't want that much power!

Hi Carole, I was, and relieved too - always a bit scary when the reviews come out!
