(AKA The Deathly Hallows, Pt1)
I'm probably going to see this on Saturday.
Any thoughts/expectations?
I'm not overly optimistic. I've always found myself disappointed with the HP films (though the last one wasn't all bad).

I'm still enjoying the films, though they've been a bit grim and dreary since Azkaban. Won't watch this one until I've finished the book, though - or at least got halfway through it.

I've never read a Harry Potter book or seen a Harry Potter film, but I have watched the latest Kylie video on YouTube, so I'm not totally out of touch with modern culture

My seven-year-old will want to see it. Please tell me she's too young to get in.

12A so it's up to you...
That must be why Voyage of the Dawn Treader is on this weekend, which otherwise seems baffling, to catch the kids a bit too small for Potter.

I agree, but with marshmallows and other fluffy things. I watched it with the sound off - did I miss an audio treat?
Must have been tough doing that, take after take. Some people have horrible jobs.

Okay, I saw it last night, and was pleasantly surprised. The acting will never be particularly good, and a number of ideas were ripped from other (better) films, but it's definitely the best of the HP films so far.
