I just get a strange "endif" message and no more - shall I just do what I usually do with technical problems and wait a bit to see if it fixes itself?

Hooray!!

Loving the skull in the Santa's hat. Seriously tempted to rig up something similar in the window in place of Christmas deccies...do you think it'd make the carol singers cry?

Yep, Internet Explorer. Work computer, too, so not much tinkering I'm allowed to do. I'll try again from a different computer.

I don't think it's a fault at your end Ray. This has happened before (e.g. with the first part of the "British Fantasy Society Yearbook" review). I can't remember the exact formula, but it appears that when I use the word 'if' near the end of any post in combination with another word (and I can't recall what that word is) then the post won't show up in IE except as 'endif' gibberish. I have no idea why.

Worse still, I can't simply delete 'if' - I have to repost the whole thing again without the offending word(s). At the moment I simply can't be arsed (bad computer week - don't ask), but if other people post here that they're having problems I'll reconsider.

I hate technology. I hate it with a passion. And I say that perfectly aware of the irony that it's technology lets me tell you so

I know exactly what you mean, though it is rather easier to complain via a forum like this than carrier pigeon.

True, true, and yet there are days when you really have to ask yourself if free porn is worth all this hassle :(

Just a quick note to reassure everyone that this issue (and Crimewave 11) went out on time, and normally would have arrived a good few days ago. Thanks for your patience!

I'll expect them in the New Year then, along with all the Christmas presents I ordered from Amazon.
