Anyone else watching this on ITV?

I'm really enjoying...absolutely brilliant. Nice slow sense of creepiness building towards a revelation, and all the different threads coming together.

There are a few new series out there at the moment but this would be my pick of the bunch.

I think it's based on a book called The Oaks - anyone read it?

Wasn't it based on a US TV series called The Oaks, which was cancelled?

Apparently it was optioned and then never greenlit by the American Network for Buggering About with Shows.

Nice to see the creative geniuses of ITV rummaging around in the detritus scraped from the bottom of the birdcage of American TV. Highlight of next week, it seems, from Radio Times: BABOONS WITH BILL BAILEY.

Is it any worse than basing a sitcom on a car insuranceadvertisement? At first sight there is no character named Sheila in it but there is a Stella.

Oh, dear! :?

I did really enjoy the series, though.
