Interview with Jo Fletcher here:-

Mention of Ali's book about half way down. And also, near the end, of Quercus releasing a novel by Isla J Bick, who was in Crimewave #11.

Nice one, Pete!

And the book itself has just gone up on Amazon, with a swanky new cover:

It's coming out on 2/2/12 but up for preorder now on Amazon.

Paperback: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cold-Season-Ali ... 500&sr=8-1

Hardback: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cold-Season-Ali ... 500&sr=8-2

Sorry, this should really be in the shameless promotion thread, shouldn't it!!

Contrarily, posting your news to a Shameless Self-Promotion thread isn't exactly shameless.

To be really shameless you need to post to a thread that has nothing to do with you, though that doesn't apply in this case.

If you tagged something on the end of the William Golding item I posted down in Events, now that would be really shameless

Well, in that case, I'm almost shameless.

Um. I think that just means I'm shameful... :D

Ali, I read it in a day! The pacing was superb I couldn't put it down. As Horror debut novels go I'd put it up there with Through a Glass, darkly by Bill Hussey and Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill. Deserves to sell by the bucket load and JF Books seem to be doing you great credit getting it out there.

Wow, Ross, thank you so much for that!! That's really really kind of you - glad you enjoyed it!!

Steve, sorry but the blue cover got ditched in favour of the black and white one - still pretty much the same design though.

All the best for 2012
Ali

Wow selected as a Richard and Judy Book Club pick. That should help sell a few!
