A nice sample of Lumley. I know I started with the first Necroscope, way back when, but I've enjoyed more than just those. It's always nice to find a writer who is readable and still offers a voice that's different enough to stand out.

Yeah, I'm a bit late to the table where "Necroscope" is concerned. The only one I've read is the latest, "The Touch", but had a good time with that.

As the review was partly dedicated to me, I feel I must comment.
Of all the Lovecraft and HP sourced material, the stuff I never liked that much were stories set wholly on other planes or worlds. Much prefer the cosmic horror creeping into our world.
I did like Lumley's The Burrower's Beneath, which was, I think, the first Titus Crow novel.

Latest reviews added to www.ttapress.com are:-
Nemesis" by Vincent Cobb
"Final Destination: Dead Man's Hand" by Steven A Roman
"Nightmae on Elm Street: Protege" by Tim Waggoner
"Dean Koontz's Frankenstein Book Two: City of Night" by Dean Koontz and Ed Gorman
The last three titles are in a 'cluster' review. I've done a couple of these already, the three Lumleys and Hoffman/Palahniuk.
For Black Static itself, Andy and I are thinking of running a mix of stand alone reviews of varying lengths, with one or two thematically linked clusters along these lines.
Anybody have an opinion/preference?

Okay, I've stopped sulking cause Andy changed the layout and started posting reviews to the website again
Latest additions to www.ttapress.com are "Taming the Beast" by Emily Maguire, "States of Grace" by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro and "Heaven's Falling Volume One: Ascension" by Garry Charles.
The last one has slipped off the front page already (tempus fugit), so to get to that you'll have to click on Peter Tennant's Case Notes in the right hand column.
