Keep up the teasing, Andy. I'm enjoying the building tension. You should get Interzone Online to note how you're announcing the September publication one piece at a time.

If you’ve been enjoying Pete’s reviews on the website ( http://ttapress.com), and in TTA previously, and just about everywhere else for that matter, you’ll be happy to learn that he reviews a lot more books in his Black Static column, Case Notes. In the first issue Pete reviews the latest Michael Marshall Smith/Michael Marshall books, interviews the author, adds a few sidebars, and reviews batches of novellas, vampire novels, crime/horror thrillers and more. For a change this isn't the title spread of the feature, but the second spread.

Did you know that...
Black Static is based on an eleven column grid?

Andy,
I can see it now that you mention it. Tabloid dimensions, right? I can see how a four-column makes ad space more uniform. Easier to sell quarter pages.*

I can also now see that I can't read.

Thanks for your subscription btw, Seth. (I think all other commentators on this thread are already subscribers, so you already have my thanks. )

Most other magazines only go up to ten.

Black Static One is at the printers. It actually really is. Should mail out to subscribers about the 6th September, give or take a day or two. I'm intending to make another thread for a formal apology, but thanks again everyone for your patience during what could have been an unacceptable delay.
If you're thinking of buying the 28 Weeks Later R2 DVD released on the 10th September, you might want to wait till the 20th, because we have a few copies to give away with Black Static One. Email or post the answer to the simple question in the magazine and we'll draw the winners from a hat and post the DVDs on the same day, the 20th. Tony Lee reviews the DVD in his Blood Spectrum column. Fwiw, I think it's superb. (The film and the review!)

That's brilliant news, Andy. I'm really, really looking forward to this. It'll be like having an old friend coming back after living abroad, or something.
