Jonathan Lethem who had stories in IZ in 1992 and 3 has a lot of BBC radio airplay coming up. Thats an ever evolving link rather like our current issue or news page.

Harlan Ellison is not a TTA alumnus but he has 'appeared' in IZ 210 and the following was interesting news to me. Quote: Harlan Ellison's never-before-published 238-page, unproduced screenplay adaptation of Norman Spinrad's Hugo Award-nominated novel BUG JACK BARRON that was to have been directed by Costa-Gavras (Z) for Universal Pictures in the early 1980s. Updated by Ellison for this publication and never more relevant than in an election year. Respected film critic and historian LEONARD MALTIN has written an insightful introduction with input from Ellison on why—after nearly 30 years—the film has still never been made. This paperback book includes Ellison's original casting suggestions from 1983 so you can "see the movie in your mind" with the faces Ellison imagined for each role. http://www.cafepress.co.uk/harlanellison

Chris Beckett writes on his website. Quote: I’ve just found out, two days late, that Dark Eden was The Sunday Times’ SF novel of the year for 2012. I’m very pleased. Alison Flood, the Sunday Times’ SF reviewer wrote: “…Written in an extraordinary vernacular, this is a stunning novel and a beautiful evocation of a truly alien world. I have thrust it on countless people this year and they’ve all loved it. Chris has had more than 20 stories in Interzone since 1990 and won the Edgehill Prize with a collection of short stories, largely from Interzone. Dark Eden is his 3rd novel.

Two new free e book novels from Dominic Green: Destination Alpha Four suitable for youngsters. Quote: In the Sunset Desert of Alpha Centauri A Four are three immense structures. For nearly thirty years, these massive mines have used United States of the Zodiac prisoners to dig uraninite out of the ground by hand. No-one escapes from Alpha Four. Once you are sent there, established wisdom considers you as good as dead. It's time for Ant and Cleo to prove established wisdom wrong... and, not suitable for youngsters Cowboys and Dinosaurs Quote: Steve Simpson loses his job, fiancée and home inside twenty-four hours, and has only hours to find a new place to live. The house he ends up in is the mystic repository of the Sacred Stone of St. Neot, which, as one of the residents, Gonoroid Quarxxx, says, 'attracts weirdos'. But can the Stone protect him from the Lizard Lady, the Masters of Cold Steel and the Crouch End Albanian Mob?

I recognise two Interzone stories from 2013 in Gardner Dozois' ‘The Year’s Best Science Fiction, Thirtieth Annual Collection’ STEAMGOTHIC, Sean McMullen SHIP’S BROTHER, Aliette de Bodard both from issue 241 Jul - Aug 2012
...and Rich Horton wants to reprint two of Aliette's stories from other sources in his Year's Best. They are "Scattered Along the River of Heaven" and "Heaven Under Earth". The Interzone story he chose was “THE SILVER WIND” by Nina Allen, Interzone 233, Mar - Apr 2011
Well done all.

Absolutely well done, great stories all of them. Been a fan of Aliette de Bodard's short fiction for a while now, must get around to trying one of her novels.

Great! I'll snap one up as soon as I'm at a proper computer instead of my rubbish phone.
