IZ224 is out on September 10th. Please don't forget to check your subscriptions and renew if necessary before the main mailing. Thanks!
Full details will be posted to the website a bit nearer to publication, and there'll be a proper dedicated thread here, but meanwhile here's a glimpse of the cover (art by Adam Tredowski):
The issue contains a novella by Jason Sanford, stories by Katherine Sparrow & Rachel Swirsky, Adrian Joyce (first published story), Jeremiah Tolbert and Chris Butler. Robert Holdstock is interviewed by Sandy Auden, and there are all the usual columns, reviews and things you can get for free. |

Mythago Wood is one of my favourite novels of all time.
I just received September 1981. F&SF with the novellette Mythago Wood in it.
What a coincidence.
By the way, another great cover. |

I'm intrigued by Jason Sanford's novella. The first half of Desolation Angels is one of my favourite novels. The second half... isn't. _________________ http://jimsteel.wordpress.com/ |

I have to agree--cover is amazing. If the covers contiune like this, would an end-of-year poster featuring all the Interzone covers from 2009 be possible? It would at least give me something to put on my Christmas list, which usually contains the very expense and the very obscure because I'm a pain to buy for
Also looking forwards to Jason's novella. Really looking forwards to it. I've enjoyed his Interzone work so far and am tantalised by the prospect of him being able to stretch his wings. And by another strange coincidence, my partner was looking for a new book to read and I picked Mythago wood of the shelf in Smith's for her, based purely on its spine. She's not far in, and already saying it's one of her favourite books. Is it 'Mythago', as in 'long-a-go', or to rhyme with 'cargo' (Myth-ah-go)? _________________ The future's going to be just like the present, but with more LEDs.

Looks great The Interzone covers are always great, and always get me anticipating its arrival- as if I wasn't already due to the great content.
Anyway, looking forwards to seeing it come through the letterbox |
