| Oh, I should say that apart from the cover IZ212 is not in colour. This was literally a last-minute decision based on various technical issues and other tedious stuff. A pity, because we'd much rather print in colour, but needs must and all that. |

Thought it was about time I updated the IZ myspace page with a new graphic and stuff... only to discover that our guys already did that, ages ago! They're earning their money all right (and sharing the car, presumably).
Thanks Gareth and Colin!
Quick update on IZ212. As you know, ideally I would have liked to send both IZ212 and Black Static One out in the same mailing and save lots of money. But given the circumstances, IZ212 has gone out on its own and should start to arrive in the next day or three. (I hope overseas copies -- USA especially -- arrive much quicker than last time. I gave DHL a rocket so that might help.) |

Andy, I don't think DHL are licensed to fly rockets - though admittedly it would be an appropriate distribution method for Interzone. _________________ http://www.scan-tech.co.uk/mikealx

Saw a really impressive batch of them at London's Forbidden Planet (and BTW, I'm ready to move to London only to get near this fantastic store ) _________________ http://www.aliettedebodard.com |

Did, many thanks Shaun.
Not having much luck lately. Seems like everybody's still waiting for their IZ212. Having just now spoken to Royal Mail I'm sure that some copies must've arrived, but the rest of you can expect yours, well, now. We're now at the limit of the stated delivery time for this service. Usually it's quicker than this. Plus this issue was held up a couple of days while I waited on the Black Static reprint news, so maybe that makes delivery time seem even longer. I'm a gambling man, I'm betting on Thursday for most of you. |

I think the recent postal strikes have had their usual knock-on effect; I'm still getting stuff two to three days later than it should be arriving. As a child of the Thatcher era, I never thought I'd hear myself say (or type) this, but the sooner the postal service is privatised, the happier anyone whose business involves using it will be. _________________ "I have a fatal compulsion to find a kind of higher sense in things that make no sense at all."
