Alastair Reynolds is a science fiction writer based in Wales. The author of eight novels and many short stories, he's been published since 1990. His first novel was REVELATION SPACE (2000), which was shortlisted for the BSFA and Arthur C Clarke awards. His second novel, CHASM CITY, won the BSFA award in 2002. A number of his other novels and stories have subsequently been shortlisted for the BSFA and Clarke awards.

Al Robertson lives and works in London. He’s published fiction in The Third Alternative, Midnight Street, Black Static, Interzone, Postscripts and on the Science Museum website. He’s also a performance poet, and vocalist with ambient doomsters Graan (graan.org.uk). He’s completed his first novel, and the second is under way.

Rudy Rucker is a mathematician, computer scientist and science fiction author, and is one of the founders of the cyberpunk literary movement. The author of both fiction and non-fiction, he is best known for the novels in the Ware Tetralogy, the first two of which (Software and Wetware) both won Philip K. Dick Awards. His short stories have appeared everywhere, including Interzone. He also edits the science fiction webzine Flurb.
