Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to pop up a quick post, as we're not too far away from the return of Edge-Lit at the superb QUAD venue in Derby. Last year's inaugural event was a real success, so looking forward to an even bigger and better day this time around, with Guests of Honour MIKE CAREY, STAN NICHOLLS and TRICIA SULLIVAN.

It all takes place on the 13th July, and you can check out all the latest info and booking details at You can also take a look at the schedule at ... hedule.pdf if you wanted to find out a bit more about what's going on.

Thanks a lot, and hopefully will see some of you there!

For those interested I'll be running a workshop at 11am at this event focussing on the short story. It'll be a fun session looking at the essential elements to a story: character, scene, and conflict. You will write something as part of the session, guaranteed! I do need a minimum of 4 people for it to run successfully so kindly contact Alex to book your place (or alternatively, contact myself direct).

I'll be there with a vast amount of TTA goodies to sell.
