Alan Smithee strikes again!

Sounds like it might've been fun, but probably a contender for worst film of the year:

The Devil And Daniel Webster (2007), co-stars Jennifer Love Hewitt as you-know-who...

The original 1941 version was on telly a few months ago. I really enjoyed it, but I can't imagine how a remake would be remotely relevant!

Ahh, that's given me that feeling. You know... where you just want to projectile vomit out of every orifice.

Too early in the year to say for me, Tony. Pirates of the Caribbean III was a tedious mess but I haven't seen anything in 2007 that could come close to competing with last year's worst - the utterly vile Little Man (my kids made me take them and I'm still in recovering).

Well, this is due for release in 2008, but since we're on the subject of worst movies I think this deserves an early inclusion:

I'm very upset now.

Is there a Bert the Raccoon movie in the works?

Or how about a Duckular movie? That would be great. I'd look forwards to that.

Ah, but at least you went to see it, Andy!
I thought it was quite good really, if only as w/s spectacle.

To qualify for this this humorous thread's (admittedly) knee-jerk condemnation, a film ought to be so obviously horrible that, as per Shaun's reaction to mention of BRATZ, you'd have to be dragged while puking insanely into the cinema. Depends what sort of friends/ family have you got?

Worst film of 2007 has to be "Oceans 13," purely for the fact that Al Pacnio's plastic surgery seems to have paralysed his entire face and thus ended the acting career (or at least the acting ability) of a genuine legend. We can only hope De Niro doesn't go the same way ...

Plus, it's a crap film as well. Don't watch it.
